McFarlane Toys Digital is built with an XP system in mind which rewards users who purchase, hold and trade our digital collectibles with XP Points
XP points are similar to loyalty or video game experience points. McFarlane Toys Digital Loyalty XP Points are not stored on any blockchain and are not considered or treated as a tradeable token.
Holding assets rewards you based on which rarity the asset is

By purchasing an item from a Primary Sale, you can earn the following

*A Primary Sale window is the 25 hours where a Digital Collection is being issued for the first time. These sales usually happen on Thursdays, on mcfarlanetoys.digital.
By purchasing an item from a Secondary Marketplace, you can earn the following

| For every 1 ETH spent on a secondary purchase | 4 x (the conversion rate of ETH to MATIC via USD) XP Points |
MATIC: MATIC is the base currency of the Polygon Blockchain, where our digital collectibles are tracked.
ETH: ETH (Ethereum) is the base currency of the Ethereum Blockchain(s), some types of marketplaces permit purchases in ETH.
Secondary Marketplace: A Secondary Marketplace is a website that allows you to purchase a digital collectible directly from another person. Secondary Marketplaces also enforce royalties. Our trusted marketplace is provided by Rarible at https://mcfarlanetoys.digital. Other marketplaces can be reputable, however you should always do your own research before interacting with a marketplace!
Secondary Purchase XP Example
If you were to purchase a Batman by Todd McFarlane for 100 MATIC from another user on https://mcfarlanetoys.digital, you would recieve 100 x 4 = 400 XP Points.
If you were to purchase a Batman by Todd McFarlane for 0.08 ETH via a Marketplace which registers the trade in ETH on the blockchain, and if the exchange rate from ETH -> MATIC was $6126 USD : $1 USD, then you would be rewarded:
0.08 ETH * 6126 = 490 MATIC; therefore, 490 MATIC * 4 = 1,970 XP Points.
Disclaimer: this mechanism relies on market pricing which can fluctuate significantly every second. The price conversion is done once the transaction is: 1) confirmed on the blockchain, and 2) processed by our system. The delay between your trade on a marketplace, and you being rewarded corresponding XP amount, is likely to result in a different number compared to the XP value you expect to earn at the moment you action the purchase. We DO NOT guarantee that this difference is not likely to be volatile.
Transfers directly to other users
Direct transfers do not count towards XP. Meaning, if you broker your own trade with another user, that transfer will not be detected by our system to allocate XP from.
XP Points are calculated across all wallets in your account
When your XP is calculated, it done at the account level, not the wallet level. Meaning, you are able to have 1, or dozens of wallets, linked to your account, yet only 1 XP calculation is done for all wallets in your account.
We therefore encourage those whose aims are to earn XP Points, to rely on a singular account approach.

The following XP Rewards are no longer in effect as of July 8 2024.
